Anna Chenery, founder of The Project Bench has specialised in Interim recruitment for the majority of her career – which now spans nearly 20 years. Having qualified in HR Management in her degree, Anna went on to successfully build a career helping 1000’s of people achieve their goals – either in supporting them to become a recognised ‘career interim’ themselves or by identifying the need for a professional interim in business.
It’s not what you know… Anna has a national network of professional interims and client contacts having worked in Manchester and London for big corporate recruitment business over her career. Most recently she was one of the early partners at owner managed business Frazer John Recruitment, a business she holds in very high regard, and was instrumental in their success across HR, Interim and Client Services all of which she helped to established as a Senior Partner.
Why now…. spurred on by her late fathers words “you’re not here for a long time, you’re here for a good time”, Anna feels the time is now to establish her own business dedicated to an area she is passionate about, ‘Business Change’.
Anna gets her energy and inspiration from the people she meets and has the experience and ability to match the need and the person expertly. Anna respects that she is only as marketable as the great talent she and The Project Bench represent and therefore puts her interim network at the heart of everything she does. Prioritising their interim candidates is a mindset The Project Bench will continue to champion as they grow.
It’s all in the name… The Project Bench is so called because Anna had an idea to fill a bench of top-class interim experts that she and the team can then speak to their influential executive contacts about. The Project Bench is reserved for the impactful players who can make a difference to the interim market and start to set the record straight on what a professional interim can deliver.
